Pruning - Both John and Doug have formal training, in the
art of pruning, from the International Society of Arboriculture. The best time to prune fruit trees is when the tree is in
its dormant state, which is in the winter. To obtain optimal health and fruit, pruning is necessary to maintain and support
your tree.
Thinning - Thinning is accomplished to reduce wind
sail on large trees, allowing wind to pass through the tree, without blowing the tree over.
Removals- John and Doug can remove any type of tree but they specialize
in removing difficult trees. Both have extensive experience and training from the International Society of Arboriculture regarding
rigging dangerous trees. This allows them to safely remove trees that other companies cannot. They have never had an insurance
claim or accident.
View Clearing - View Clearing is performed to enhance views
with as little damage as possible to the trees. We also top trees, which entails the removal of the top part of the tree.
This can provide views and visibility, as well as continuing to maintain a solid tree coverage, at the bottom of the tree
for privacy.
Stump Grinding - Stump grinding can be completed at
different depths. We are capable of grinding out any sized stump. A shallow grind prepares the ground to plant grass or small
plants. A deep grind is performed to plant a tree in its place.
Storm Damage Prevention - If you have
trees that you feel could possibly fail in a violent storm, we can preventatively thin or brace these trees.
